OUT OF BOUNDS!
This coming full Moon will be out of bounds, conjunct and parallel Black Moon Lilith, opposing Uranus and in Sagittarius. Expect crazy.
Out of bounds:
The Sun is always in the ecliptic, by definition.
The plane of the ecliptic is more like a thick pancake than a thin plane.
It’s easy to see: the Sun climbs higher in summer and doesn’t reach a very high point above the horizon in winter.
The pancake thickness spans between these two points.
At its highest (summer solstice) or lowest (winter solstice), the Sun’s declination is plus or minus 23 degrees and 44 minutes. At the equinoxes, the Sun’s declination is 0 degrees.
(These degrees are not degrees of the zodiac, it’s just a measurement)
The pancake is the Sun’s kingdom. Plus and minus 23 degrees and 44 minutes) are the boundaries of the kingdom.
You could also compare the points on the horizon where the Sun rises (or sets) at the Solstices to get a visual representation of the thickness of the ecliptic.
Sometimes, planets venture beyond these limits.
On Astrodienst, on top of a chart, click on ‘Additional tables’. You’ll be able to see planets’ declinations. When two planets have the same declination, plus or minus one degree as a rule of thumb, they are parallel (if both are North or South) or contraparallel (if one is North and the other South).
These connections can be compared to conjunctions or oppositions.
Back to the Moon
If you observe the Moon when it squares the nodes you’ll be able to see that, like the Sun at the solstices, she is climbing whether higher or not as high as usual.
The Moon squaring the nodes is not necessarily out of bounds - there are cycles about this as well.
This Moon will be out of bounds when squaring the nodes.
Out of bound, the Moon claims:
‘I’m outside of the kingdom! I am sailing in international waters, the laws of the Sun’s kingdom don’t apply to me! I can give free reins to my nature! Let’s be emotional, imaginative and magical in my own ways!
The Moon can be out of bounds and not full. This time it’s also full.
And it’s also within orb of conjunction with Black Moon Lilith.
I’ve written about a way to understand the Black Moon independently of the myth of Lilith (without discarding it).
This Moon will also be parallel Black Moon Lilith. As if conjunct wasn’t enough.
Black Moon may be felt as a screech. A screech that can be loud, smothered, or entirely suppressed, as we do when something is too painful.
What do you think a Full Moon out of bounds could make of that?
Other energies associated with this Full Moon are also of the ‘Bigger than Life’ kind.
Sagittarius is always excited about crossing thresholds and exploring beyond the ordinary limits.
Uranus is an energy that is specialised in the unexpected, outside the box thinking and out of the beaten tracks behaviour.
To know more, pay attention to how you feel this weekend, especially if you have sensitive natal placements around 10 degrees Sagittarius, or the mutable signs. Also, if you have sensitive natal placements around 19 degrees Sagittarius or Gemini, as that’s where Black Moon Lilith currently is.
If it doesn’t impact you directly, watch your friends and neighbours!
